Location Scotland creates new LS Motion department
The Edinburgh-based full service production and location management company Location Scotland has announced the launch of new TV production department LS Motion.
Client demand for moving image production alongside stills shoots in Scotland has resulted in a natural progression for the company to move into production for TV commercials, online videos and behind-the-scenes filming.
Joining the strong LS production team is BAFTA-award-winning producer Sarah Drummond who will head up LS Motion. Sarah has 20 years of international production experience in commercials, film, post-production and online content.
Recent LS Motion credits include a stunning new car commercial for QUANT e-Sportlimousine in collaboration with Feit Films of Switzerland who produced the commercial and France’s Orange Film who provided service production. The QUANT production featured dramatic helicopter filming, several road closures including the famous Kylesku Bridge and speeding cars throughout Glencoe and Skye.
Further LS credits include several Bank of Scotland TVCs, Milchschnitte Wandertag, The Witcher 3 promo and many more.
The in-house LS production team have access to a professionally photographed location database boasting over 90,000 images. LS have recently updated their website with various new film locations including stunning landscapes, modern interiors, period homes, empty roads, shoot and stays and grand estates.
The LS Motion team go above and beyond to provide the best production services including but not limited to budgeting, location management, production management, technical crew, equipment and casting.
