Ed Vaizey is the UK’s Culture Minister: “The treaty will bring huge benefits to both countries and builds on the strong collaborative relationship across the creative industries that already exists between us.”

Manoel Rangel is Director-President of ANCINE in Brazil: “We are hoping that this agreement will lead to much future collaboration in the field of film and TV production, in which both Brazilian and British producers are known for their expertise and unique creativity."

UK productions filming in Brazil under the terms of the agreement will be treated as national productions when it comes to incentive support and TV deals. Brazilian projects in the UK will be eligible for filming tax relief and cash from the BFI Film Fund.
