Young Directors Award works on shortlist
A shortlist is being decided for the Commercial Films Producers Europe (CFP-E)/Shots Young Directors Award (YDA). The competition promotes new directors based on work taken from their first four projects and has been running for 14 years.
Francois Chilot is President of YDA: “Members of the CFP-E are still viewing the entries for the shortlist but there is a lot of exceptional work from film students and new directors this year. It’s so exciting to come across so many new ideas and excellent filmmaking from the next generation of directors.”
YDA will be held this year at the Espace Miramar at the Cannes Lions festival on Thursday 21st June at 5pm.
