Filmmaker Joss Whedon has apologised to residents of the Korean capital Seoul as Marvel’s superhero sequel The Avengers: Age of Ultron starts filming in the city. Whedon said that the film should help present Seoul in a way not necessarily seen before internationally.

New sci-fi feature Divergent sought dystopian visuals while filming on location in Chicago, as the production team recreated the setting of Veronica Roth’s source novel. The story is set in the aftermath of a future conflict that has left the city in a state of disrepair.
Historical miniseries New Worlds filmed on location in and around Bristol in south-west England and was based at the city’s Bottle Yard Studios. Set during the Restoration period of the 1680s, the drama follows the lives of four young people in England and Massachusetts.
New TV drama From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series, based on the 1996 road-movie horror, has been given a second series and will continue filming on location in Austin, Texas. Filmmaker and movie mogul Robert Rodriguez directed the feature and is also behind the series.
Superhero sequel The Avengers: Age of Ultron is filming on location in the town of Aosta in northern Italy. Second-unit work has already taken place in Johannesburg, South Africa, and filming is also scheduled for the Korean capital Seoul.
Historical drama Vikings has been given a third series and will continue to film on location in County Wicklow, Ireland, with a base at Ashford Studios outside Dublin. The show was History Channel’s first scripted series and tells the story of the infamous Nordic race.
