Filming for the upcoming Han Solo spin-off has begun at Pinewood Studios in London. The yet-to-be titled film will be the second entry in the Star Wars anthology series, after Gareth Edwards’s Rogue One.
In a historic win, Damien’s Chazelle’s La La Land took home all seven of the awards it was nominated for, including Best Screenplay and Best Original Song. As an ode to the golden age of Hollywood musicals, La La Land was filmed largely in the Greater Los Angeles area.
The next entry into the Marvel cinematic universe, Spider-Man: Homecoming has begun filming at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. The start of production was announced via the Instagram account of Director James Gunn, whose own Marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 just concluded its residency at the studio.
