Authorities in Liverpool have approved plans to spend GBP 25 million converting the city’s former Littlewoods Building into new TV and film studios. The aim is to attract more movies to the city, as well as high-end television dramas like Peaky Blinders, which shot scenes locally.

A second series of murder drama The Tunnel will return to film on location in Kent in southern England. The show is a remake of Scandinavian drama The Bridge and the first series charted a joint English-French investigation following a murder in the centre of the Channel Tunnel.
