Europe’s only end of year event for the location and production industry, FOCUS, will be returning to London’s Business Design Centre for the 6th and 7th of December. Filming has commenced on the new BBC Two comedy Quacks, with the production currently on location at the Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent. The series will poke fun at the early days of medical science in 1840s Britain, when surgical mishaps were aplenty and some procedures came down to guesswork.
Christchurch Hill in North-West London features as a major location in Robert Zemeckis’s war-time drama Allied, starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard. The production took over the London street in March 2016 before visiting Hampstead Heath and Blythe House in West Kensington.

The sequel to 2013's Pacific Rim has entered into production in Sydney, Australia. Entitled Pacific Rim: Maelstrom, the sequel will pick up a number of years after the first film with Star Wars alum John Boyega set to star alongside Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad) and Jing Tian (Kong: Skull Island).
