The Location Guide is hosting a Soirée at Cannes Lions 2012. In partnership with Fresco Film, the APA, Pure Scandinavia, the Sevilla Film Office, Finland Film Commission and Orange Films, our evening of drinks and networking will take place on Cannes’ Majestic Beach pier on June 20th.
A shortlist is being decided for the Commercial Films Producers Europe (CFP-E)/Shots Young Directors Award (YDA). The competition promotes new directors based on work taken from their first four projects and has been running for 14 years.
[slideshow id=281]Everybody knows that the Euro 2012 football championship will take place in Ukraine and Poland. The infrastructure provided for the competition in both countries includes highways, bridges, high-speed trains and hotels.
Entries are now being accepted for the CFP-E (Commercial Film Producers of Europe)/Shots Young Director Award competition. It’s an opportunity for up-and-coming Directors to have their films seen by industry experts and then to find a wider audience at Cannes Lions if they’re chosen as a shortlisted entry.
