Serbia has decided to compete more effectively with its European neighbours by launching a new filming incentive worth up to 15%. The new cash rebate is valid for feature films, TV and documentaries that spend at least EUR2 million in Serbia.

Fury Road, the latest sequel in the Mad Max franchise, has booked studio space in New South Wales, giving a local studio facility its first long-term production. The film plans to shoot in the mining town of Broken Hill but has been delayed due to rain and flooding.
