Loch Ness, a new drama commissioned by ITV will film at its namesake location and in the Scottish Highlands. Split into six episodes, the series will follow the lives of Detective Annie Redford and her family when a body is discovered by the Carn Mor mountain just as a human heart turns up on the shores of Loch Ness.
The Sable Ranch in Santa Clarita, California has burned down after a wildfire swept through the area, consuming over 30,000 acres of land in the process. Sable Ranch has been featured in a number of feature films and television shows including Supernatural, 24 and The Devil’s Rejects.
Alexander Payne’s upcoming film Downsizing has now begun shooting on location in Western Norway and Lofoten. The production picks up in the Nordic State after previous shoots were completed in Omaha, Toronto and Los Angeles.

A television adaptation of Stephen King’s The Mist will film on location in Nova Scotia. To accommodate for a large scale production spend, estimated to be USD22.8 million, the NS Film Fund has been permitted a monetary increase of USD6 million to cover a tax rebate of USD5.9 million.

The new BBC series The Secret Agent, which aired its first episode on Sunday, was filmed on location in the streets of Edinburgh. Adapted from Joseph Conrad’s novel of the same name, the show stars Toby Jones (Dad’s Army) as Verloc, the owner of a 19th century sex shop who soon becomes embroiled in a plot of political espionage between Britain and Russia.
Kansas City’s tax rebate has lured production on the upcoming film feature, All Creatures Here Below. Written by David Dastmalchian (Ant-Man) who is himself a Kansas City native, All Creatures will receive a rebate of USD60,000 after an estimated expenditure of USD800,000 was calculated.
