British comedy star Rowan Atkinson has started filming in Budapest for a new TV movie drama based on the fictional French detective Maigret. The character first appeared on-screen in the early 60s and was last portrayed by Michael Gambon in the early 90s.

Period drama series Mr Selfridge is set to shoot a new series in an adapted studio space in North-West London. The show stars Jeremy Piven and is based on the true story of US businessman Harry Selfridge who founded London’s Selfridges store at the turn of the 20th century.
New 1920s-set TV movie Harry Price: Ghost Hunter will film on location in London. Based on a novel by Neil Spring and inspired by a true story, the ITV film will follow the adventures of a ‘psychic researcher’ investigating an apparent haunting.
A period drama telling the story of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in the 1920s will be filmed on location in South Africa for ITV. British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of the Ancient Egyptian boy-king in 1922 after years of searching.
