Five studios in the US state of Georgia have come together to focus on training the regional film crew pool. The Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance will also act as an advocacy group for local production. Georgia’s recent productions have included Selma and Ant-Man.

Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan will be in Croatia this week filming scenes for his new movie Fan. The production will use Croatia’s filming incentives to spend nine days shooting in Dubrovnik, before relocating to London.
The Korean Film Commissions & Industry Network has put in place a new international team to promote South Korea as a country, rather than by region. South Korea will get a profile boost in the coming months as a filming location for superhero sequel The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Visual effects work for Harrison Ford’s upcoming romantic drama The Age of Adaline will be completed partly in Brisbane, Australia, using Queensland’s new visual effects incentive. The film follows Blake Lively as a 29-year-old woman who stops ageing after surviving an accident.
