Filmmaker Joss Whedon has apologised to residents of the Korean capital Seoul as Marvel’s superhero sequel The Avengers: Age of Ultron starts filming in the city. Whedon said that the film should help present Seoul in a way not necessarily seen before internationally.
Superhero sequel The Avengers: Age of Ultron is filming on location in the town of Aosta in northern Italy. Second-unit work has already taken place in Johannesburg, South Africa, and filming is also scheduled for the Korean capital Seoul.

South Africa has begun a ten-day location filming scout for executives from several of the top US studios. Filming locations and production infrastructure will be showcased as South Africa aims to attract more shoots on the scale of Black Sails.
Star J Entertainment in South Korea will film an adaptation of Israeli TV drama series Prisoners of War, which was remade in the US as Homeland. The new show will mark the original programme’s fourth adaptation and will focus on political tensions between North and South Korea.
