Filmmaker Alexander Payne boosted the local economy in Nebraska in the central US by filming his namesake movie locally. Nebraska tells the story of a father and son travelling from Montana to Nebraska to claim an apparent lottery win.

Advertising professionals from around the world will be heading to the Ciclope International Festival of Craft 2013 this week in Berlin from 6-8 November. The festival focuses specifically on celebrating the craft of advertising production and will take place at the KINO International.

The Sevilla Film Office has joined The Location Guide as a partner for our Soiree at the Cannes Lions Festival. Set up in 2003, the Sevilla Film Office is run through Seville City Council’s External Promotion Office (APPES) in the Spanish city.
Chilean Advertising Producers Association (APCP) has joined The Location Guide as a partner for our Soiree at the Cannes Lions Festival. The non-profit organisation represents the interests of commercial production companies throughout Chile.
Fresco Film has joined The Location Guide as a partner for our Soiree at the Cannes Lions Festival. The company was first set up in 1972 and became Fresco Film in 2006, working mainly on commercials and features in Spain and Portugal from offices in Barcelona, Malaga and Lisbon.
Finnish Lapland Film Commission has joined The Location Guide as a partner for our Soiree at the Cannes Lions Festival. The commission was founded in 2008 and facilitates projects filming in Finnish Lapland all the way from pre-production through to the end of the shoot.
