New Bond movie Spectre has filmed its opening sequence on location in Mexico City, recreating the country’s Day of the Dead celebrations, which in reality fall at the end of October. The production team has already filmed on location in Austria and Rome.

Discovery Channel is set to film nearly a week of live TV broadcasts from Mount Everest’s Base Camp in the Himalayas. The programming will also follow climber Joby Ogwyn as he makes his way to the peak, before leaping from the summit in a wing suit fitted with onboard cameras.
Actor Tom Hardy will partner with filmmaker Ridley Scott on Steven Knight’s new eight-part period miniseries Taboo, which will film in the UK. Scott will be an executive producer on the drama set in 1813 that will star Hardy as a rogue adventurer building a shipping empire.
Filming for new movie Everest has shifted to the Dolomites in Italy after a limited shoot on location in Nepal. The film charts an infamous day in Everest’s history in 1996 when a rogue storm killed eight climbers on separate expeditions.
Jude Law’s new feature Black Sea is filming on location in the UK. The movie tells the story of a rogue submarine captain who puts together a misfit crew to search for treasure in the depths of Eastern Europe’s Black Sea.
